Board

Board

For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.

Leadership Event is Coming Soon

August 24-The Elders are bringing Judy Turner to our church on October 8. Judy has a lifetime of experience of invigorating and leading people to a higher level of service to the church, thus expressing their love of God. We are the hands, the eyes, the feet, the voice of Jesus' way of life. Without us, the world will be missing the action of love and how it effects even the least of these. Each one of you is invited to attend. So I hear you say, "But I am not a leader in the church." And I say, "Yes, you are." Everyone of us represents the church by the way we lead our lives. Even shadow Christians need a boost.

The Elders want to remind the Elders, the Deacons, Chairpersons, and committee members that this is a very special day for them. Judy needs a big audience so we can receive the most of what she offers. Maggie has brought us a surge of new spirit. Now let's support her efforts by becoming totally revitalized so we can feel the wind of her robe

Put October 8 on your calendar now. We will start at 9:00, so come a bit early to get your cup of coffee or juice. Lunch will be served at noon and we will finish with a short review of our goals after lunch. We need you and God's mission needs you. Sue Postlewait
