Children Use Weekly Offering to
Buy Trio of Rabbits and Ducks
Dec. 19--The Children�s Sunday School takes up an offering each week as they gather before classes. The children chose as their first offering project to collect $60 to buy a trio of rabbits for Heifer Project. On December 10, the children reached their goal! The children are will next be using their offering to buy a trio of ducks for Heifer Project. Click here to learn more about Heifer Project.
Children Raise Money for Heifer
Nov. 21--The Children�s Sunday School classes (K-5) are
taking up an offering every Sunday morning during the opening
session. The children have decided to save up to buy a Trio of
Rabbits from Heifer Project as their first offering project. Kids,
remind your parents to remind you to bring your offering each week.
Other Sunday school classes are encouraged to take up offerings as
well for mission projects.
Downstairs Adult Class Begins New Study Nov. 26
Nov. 21--The downstairs adult Sunday School class begins a study of
�The Five Languages of Love� on Nov. 26. This book by Gary Chapman
focuses on ways that human beings show love and need to receive
love. Facilitator Valerie Parsons will also adapt and refer to
Chapman�s �Five Languages of Children� as well as encourage
discussion of how the way we show we care to others within the
church matters. Consider joining this lively, interactive adult
class.
